Why 320 days?

Dylan, INNO Software Inc

Dylan

I started this blog with the intent to journal everything I did each day, provided I felt it was of any real consequence.  Then by the end of the year I’d see how much of a change I had made in my life. Evaluate how far I came.

I’ve always felt New Year’s Day was just an excuse to resolve to do something. When I started the blog there were 320 days left in the year, my point was that now is as good a time as any.

The other reason I named it 320 days, is because it’s not dated. It just reminds me that applied action, over an arbitrary amount of time will get results, good or bad. That if I have a bad start I haven’t failed, I simply need to resume my good behavior.

Almost as if by design, several months passed before I wrote my first blog post. Well here it is, first draft, no edits.

Inline with my effort, the last 320 days haven’t been as good as I’d like. So, today I will improve my applied action.

Cheers, Dylan
